When we read its gov.uk page it was an invitation to lenders: the first round of lender applications has closed and another is expected later in 2026. There is no rate on it and no way for a household to apply. When it does arrive it is a loan, which you pay back, so it is not a grant. Anyone selling you the government solar loan today should be able to show you where it is on gov.uk.",
